Biography

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Toronto. I will be on the 2024-2025 job market.

My fields are macroeconomics and economic development. My primary research interests focus on understanding factors driving cross-country income differences through the lens of structural transformation and resource misallocation.

My job market paper studies the impacts of openness to foreign firms on resource allocation, structural transformation and aggregate productivity through the context of FDI openness reforms in Vietnam.
